MAGAZINE DESCRIPTION
Statistics Canada data shows that women earn 72 cents for every dollar a man makes doing the same type of work whether full-time or a full-year. Seventytwo Magazine takes that number and brings it to life, no longer trying to obscure the evident gender inequality in Canada's workforce. Seventytwo's goal is to bring a voice to the women around the Kitchener-Waterloo Region, empowering, inspiring and transforming women in the workplace.
This magazine has been written, photographed, designed and edited by Olivia Dynerowicz. This issue is all about careers. From finding your first career after graduation, to seeing how women are embracing working in male-dominated industries. Seventytwo wants to inspire women to be brave in their careers, to not hold back from taking that risk and to not compromise and settle for a position that someone thinks is best for them. Through these amazing stories told by women all throughout Kitchener/Waterloo, Seventytwo hopes that young women will look at their future a little differently and be willing to take that risk
